So today marks officially that Apple's newest version
of OS X, 10.7 Lion, has been on the market for
five days ( not counting Sunday).

And I'm still not going to buy it just yet.

Apple's newest version of the OS looks like a real stunner,
and I'll admit I'm intrigued by several things in the new
OS ( among them Full Screen Apps, Mission Control, and
Resume. I saw this on MacWorld and Tuaw.com this morning.
Seems like Roxio is trying to keep it Revelation, 
and in the face of Apple shying away
from installing blu-ray optical drives in their machines
(opting to follow M$ into "the cloud"), they are bundling more 
software with the PRO version to try and get it to sell.

So today is Thursday, 10-21. And it is the day after
Apple announced the release the upcoming iLife '11,
its digital productivity suite of apps.

For most Apple users, iLife has been, for the last few years,
well the gateway drug if you will, to it's more enticing Pro Apps,

Apple announced yesterday at their September 1st event 
many new things : a new version of iTunes, 
a preview of IOS 4.1 and 4.2 for the iPhone. 
But there were only two things I wanted to see:

via Apple's wonderful Boot Camp,
for some minor task. But today, I needed to also 
update XP to handle that particular minor task,
which of course means that BootCamp has to be updated
first.

After several hours of trying to get BootCamp 2.0 to 
update to 2.1 ( and then 2.3) so i could get XP SP3
